My first car was a :1976 Ford td cortina ,straight 6 250 motor,automatic,2v heads,extractors,exhaust,350 holley lots of memorable/funny memories:

As a p driver I was driving up the carpark ramp,of a shopping center ,I floored the litle bugger ,and to my surprise when I got off the pedal, the car was still red lining & full steam ahead.it was like a scene from dukes of hazard, with the car going airbourne on to the next level, with the driver and passengers nearly soiling their pants ,I killed the ignition keys and it came to a halt centimetres from a wall.I opened the bonnet and found the accelerator spring on the carburetor had become stuck on a bracket :stirthepot:

This was my 1st ride back in south africa in 2003

2000 Opel corsa GSI. I transplanted a Astra 2lt 8v engine into her and then slapped a T3/T4 onto that. At the end of the day a healthy 147kw atw at 0.6 bar boost. Did a few things suspension, exhaust, full leather interior from another corsa model

I got rid of all the stickers at the end of the day.

I know a bit of a ricer but she was good fun
