Looked crap, ran crap, did not pull me a root, but it got me about.
silverchris Member 129 Member For: 20y 11m 25d Location: Bulleen, Vic Posted 29/08/07 11:44 PM Share Posted 29/08/07 11:44 PM I'll show my age, but my first car was a 1953 Ford Consul. I had it in 1970 but it was like new. Good, simple car to start with.Over the years I think I can remember about 30 other cars, with about a quarter of them being Fords. I've own cars from Datsun, Hillman, Vauxhall, Morris, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Chrysler and probably some other, but I've never owned a Expensive Daewoo after I test drive one and it broke down during the test drive.I'm sticking to Ford, and a Falcon as long as they exist. Local product, great value.

Took me about 12 months of afterschool work to get it to spec, hence the school grades went downhill. I ended up leaving school so I could afford to start racing.Lost the drivers licence I never had when I was 17, busted driving to work,,,but that's another story. (and a funny one)Raced the Datto for a couple of years till I got into the next class.
