Sorry to hijack but someone told me from this forum that they had the feature that say when ya open your door the headlights automaticaly turn off rather than having the car beep at me and manualy turning them off... Is this true? If so how do I get it... There is already too many things that beep at me in these cars, time to get rid of some. These Autogauge gauge's are next... heheh

No there isnt, why do you drive with you head lights on in the day time anyway :banghead:

In the coal mining industry we have to have the headlights on at all times while cars are moving. most likely so they can be seen from a distance seeing all the cars are black from coal

Cheers

Nate

The BF's (and BA's with lux pack) have the auto lights that operate by light sensor on the dash, and when on will remain on for 10 seconds after the ignition is turned off and a door is opened. If you have them switched on manually you'll get the same chime and flat battery if ignored.

Yep I have the Luxo pack which has Prestige Leather, Dual Zone Climate, Premium Sound & Auto Lights. Its a 2004 BA.

I dont find it hard to read though during the day when I manually put the lights on and the screen is dark.

I have a black car and apparently it can be quite hard to see even in the day. I found out first hand yesterday when a camry pulled out on me whan I was about 10 metres away and nearly wrote my car off in the first week of owning it. I would have cried and cried. Just a safety thing for me. Just mekes me feel better about driving.

I wasn't because your car is dark...

Its because it was a camry! Worst drivers on the road I tell ya!

The unfortunate part is there is plenty of them around. :tonguepoke:

I drive a big blue and white truck and people still pull out in front of you. they always say they "didn't see you" and that's right they probably didn't see you, because they didn't look.

No one has pulled out on me since so maybe it was just rhe fact that they were one of those eyes closed drivers that we have more and more of on the road today. Anyways I'm still turnng the lights on manualy. Could not justify forking out for something to turn the headlights off for me. The missus already thinks im lazy, I can only immagine trying to explain that one to her. Ha ha ha ha ha.

Thanks for all the help
