Hi guys.

I'm shopping around for guages at the moment. I have heard that autometer cobalt style are the best. So far I think I agree, they look great, are really accurate, only problem so far is price. Other than these I am waiting to see the X-Force set up in the pole position group buy thread.

So I might also be looking at getting just 2 put in for affordability. 1 boost guage and a digital voltage one.

Does anyone know where I can get a really competative quote to pick some of these up? I am hoping to get a good enough price to be able to afford a tripod.

Also wouldn't mind some advice on which ones to get other than boost. I'm not really sure what I'll need more.

I really hope someone can help.

Cheers. Alex :spoton:

oil pressure is probably a good one to have, as this is a very crutial bit of information, especially in a turbo car, low voltage can be annoying, but low or no oil pressure destroys engines...

Thanks guys. You've been an aweseome help. I'll chase up some of these sites for quotes. And I think I'll go back to the tripod idea. I'm thinking the more I know about what's happening in the engine the better. Hopefully I'll get a price that fits and I'll be away.

PEACE!

www.modyourcar.com.au looks like a good site to get these from. though I cant comment as I havent bought anything from there.

there are a few places in perth selling the cobalt gauges for $280 each! crazy. that site has them for between $110-160.

bargain. I reckon the cobalts are the best match for the dash lights

Just be careful that you are comparing apples with apples..

I know when I first looked it took a while to notice that some were mechanical and some were full electronic hence the huge price difference...
