Ensure all keypads are available to be retrainedat the same time (old and new).1. Switch the ignition from the OFF to the ACC position.2. Press the rear window demister button 3 times within 5 seconds. The door locks will cycle to indicate that the system is in trainingmode.3. Press any button on the keypad to be trained. The door locks willcycle to indicate that the keypad has been trained. The first keypad trained will result in one door lock cycle, thesecond keypad trained will result in two door lock cycles, etc.4. Repeat Step 3 for all other keypads to be trained.5. Turn the ignition OFF. The door locks will cycle to indicate that thetraining mode has been exited.EDIT: Bastard beat me to it Edited 21/08/07 06:51 AM by tab Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/37630-programming-a-new-remote/#findComment-566303 Share on other sites

turbo proud Member 16 Member For: 16y 11m 28d Posted 04/09/12 07:09 AM Share Posted 04/09/12 07:09 AM (edited) Ok guys have followed these steps and the car (2004 BA ) tries to lock then unlocks instantly and sound the horn as if a door is not shut properly. Have been all round the car and shut everything twice to make sure and still same results. I have reprogrammed the remote twice with same results.Any ideas or do I take it to Ford and pay the hefty price ?
