Well Done Danny!

Your doing very well and it's good to see your sorting out some of the troubled cars.

*There's alot of guys out there that have paid for so-called custom tune but are unaware that they have paid for a copy'n'paste (generic) tune from their reputable tune shop.*

carpark tuner.... hahaha

Nothing wrong with a tuner travelling around and tuning cars on a variety of dynos... Hitman ( for example ) heads over to NZ from Sydney to tune cars.

A good tuner is hard to find... for any modified car.

Hahaha.. I only setup boost and log the duty on the street, as at times depending on the ramp rate, the boost will be different on the dyno vs the road.

Fuel I setup on the dyno (smooth it out), and I add the last few degree's of timing on the dyno where one can hear it detonate..

So what timing numbers are you pushing for at max load from 2k to max revs (assuming 98 fuel)?

I also tune EMS8860s quite a bit, datalogging wideband a/f against revs/load.

Can this Edit software do this in any usable form or is the wideband a/f figure seperate to the general datalogged stuff.

Thanks again for your help. I also tune on the road with the datalogger and other tuning features the EMS8860 has. The tuning software the EMS8860 has eliminated any need for a dyno for me.

as fatz said.. 40 degree's and let the knock sensors do the work.....

Nah, it depends plenty on how much restriction is on the motor.. ie, std plumbing will not tollerate alot of timing as apposed to a nizpro kit.. variations of 5 degree's at ANY point are seen.
