BFHOON Donating Members 1,932 Member For: 18y 9m 23d Gender: Male Location: nsw Posted 17/08/07 03:20 AM Share Posted 17/08/07 03:20 AM (edited) I have noticed that the clutch fluid isnt burning now since fitting the braded lines.with the old rubber lines after 4 weeks the fluid would be turning dark green getting towards black, now its still clear after 4 weeks and counting.I payed 250 to fit my option 3 kit admittedly its the guy I go to all the time, he also changed the rear box seal included in the price.the local tune shops quoted me around 300 and mal himself says around 250 is the right price. its all about experince mine was in and out in 2 hours. Its a 4 to 5 hour job on the floor with hand tools if you have a hoist and air tools you should knock it over pretty quick. Where about is perth are you? I've heard nothing but good things about ast mechanical.. Luke Im in Southern River / Canning Vale. I have long nails and no hoist. Not sure if its the line or Mal's clutch, but I'm happy.The bleed line while doesn't it help me, the mechanic who fitted Mal's clutch said its a lot easer to bleed than stock.
