Hey guys..

Next month I plan to buy the mal wood option 3 with short shifter

:censored:

but im wondering is it worth getting the braided lines? They are the "braided fluid line" & the "remote bleed".

It's an extra $300 and im not sure (apart from easy bleeding of clutch.. which I personally will never do..) why I need it.

I imagine the braided line helps, much like braided lines help on your brakes.. but can anybody clear this up for me?

Thanks! :bopp:

Better clutch feel, more precise clutch control , as far as the bleeding side of things is concerned if you can bleed you clutch easliy you'l be more inclined to do it and be rewarded with a much smoother clutch and shift action. definatly worth the $'s

You should have said, "I'm sorry, I've already agreed to the quoted price of $850 fitted. Your business has since entered a verbally binding agreement so pony up". :bopp:

I fitted the opt 3 to my car and then the opt4 and have been very happy with the clutches. Its a 4 to 5 hour job on the floor with hand tools if you have a hoist and air tools you should knock it over pretty quick. Where about is perth are you? i've heard nothing but good things about ast mechanical.. :spit:
