My Turbo had an alloy spare and im in NZ so I would have thought the other XRs would have tem as well.

Its going to be a laugh seeing a big car like a Falcon with a space saver.

I bought a March 05 XR6T and it came with a steel wheel - yet one that was about December (still a mk2) had a mag one (so I swapped). I am in NZ too.

Im all for the spacesaver. You rarely need ya spare and when u do its not for long. I presume it would shave 5-10kg off the vehicle weight and give u more space in boot. fine by me...

In the XR's they were an option, unless you had premium brakes.

Crappy Yoko Advan V103s... once they are half worn its as if they are made of cheese reinforced with tissue paper.
