NO BLOW OFF VALVE HURTS YOUR TURBO! Sorry for yelling but this surge is air trying to push your turbo back the other way, not good for longevity, or so I believe...

Simon from nizpro told me its ok so :bum: he offers the stage 2 kit without a BOV unless requested.. and hasn't had/heard of a failure yet... I assume for journal turbos this would be bad.. but not roller.. they can take more of a beating.. but I, like u :pooh:, could be wrong

Your car will have worse response between shifts

That is true.. mines slower between gears.. but the noise makes up for it.. I can whoop most ppl (who don't have T's) on the road.. so doesn't bother me

:spit:

You know you're probably right about the journal vs. roller bearing turbos thing, at the end of the day, if you know the risks (if any) and it makes you happy, why complain?

I too enjoy smoking everything that isn't a T (and some that are!)

I run no BOV and havent had no problems what so ever even spooling up I dont find it become slower.

if it sound that you want just run a 3" 45deg pipe of the turbo with a pod filter and block the BOV

and you will defently hear this thing from miles away ahaha.

I got a vid in my sig just click on that and you know what sound im talking about.

Cheers.
