that's an awesome time for a heavy weight....How much boost was it running??

I too would be interested to know this as well.

Is it still running standard injectors, and what dyno was it run on and how much power did it record?

cheers

It is still running the standard injectors (for now). This is helped by the water / methanol injection of course.

The car has not been on a dyno, all tuning is performed on the road. I'd imagine that Dave will give it a run on a 4wd dyno in due course.

Dave (blueboost) will no doubt reply with how much boost it is running.

But Wheels and Motor say the VE R8 can do 13.4, and 14.2 for a T. Surely those esteemed journalistic masterpieces couldn't have got it so wrong. :spoton:

this story has popped up on a few sites already, really wanna know how much boost this thing is running.

I guess the methanol injection takes the term 'stock' to a new level but its impressive non the less.

Well done blueboost, very well done indeed!

well done dave I'm glad it was you!

they go good hey!

pauley water/methanol inj is primarily to cool the intake charge to get more power that way and most would consider that std!
