Hey,

Just after a little help. I am trying to remove a headlamp (battery side) and while I think I have removed all the bolts (two top near guard, one on top near grill assemby and one behind front bar on RHS) it still seems to stuck around where the indicators are in the headlight assemby.

Trying pushing from behind and it still wont come.

Any suggestions, by someone who has removed them before?

Cheers,

Ben.

Hi Ben,

If you have the bumper and the shock absorber(white plastic bumper support) off the lamp assy should come out with the bolts removed. I found that I had to have all the plugs disconnected as well as the indicator wire was a little tight.

Hope this helps.

Tom

silly question, but how the hell do we get to the front indicators if one was to blow? im guessing we have to take off that plastic inner guard lining to get to behind the headlight unit?

Yep u certainly do, but that's only quick.

Just undo the inner guard, reach up to the bottom of the headlight, twist the entire body of the indicator bulb assy to remove the bulb from the headlight, provided u have undone the 3 plugs on the headlight and the 4 bolts holding the headlight in.

Then it will just fall out. Easy!!!!
