It is up to you to ensure your car is safe to run.Kinda makes it sound like if the AFR is dangerous levels then tough luck?So I sent him a PM saying how I'd like to see the AFR or have another run or something (even if I have to pay for it) to see the AFR and heres the response:Barry said he was not sniffing to save set up etc. But speak to him yourself mate.So I'm assuming the "sniffing" is when they clamp that attachment onto your exhaust...etc and that's used to get the AFR? Sounds like they wont even be recording the AFR at all?Who knows... I'll find out tomorrow I guess?

The main reason im worried is that my original fuel filter is un-removable (its like its welded to the fuel lines!).. so im worried its affecting some of the fuel flow. So running the octane booster might give me some peace of mind..

That is a mechanical fault!IMHO don't use Octane booster for trying to raise your octane levels anyway. They have been proven to do Sweet FA and they are very effective in stuffing your very expensive spark plugs. If you want higher octane, go and run a higher octane fuel e.g. Shell V Power Racing. It is rated at a minimum of 100RON. Adding Octane booster to a 98 RON fuel would be lucky to raise the RON level 2 whole points.Just my practical experience with Octane booster and 2cents Edited 10/08/07 03:32 AM by F6 RAPID
