hi all

I got a prob with my center diff bush stud , it keeps comeing lose ??.

about year ago I replaced the center bush and all was good.

but now that im runing 296rwkw the stud comes lose all the time.

I can get under there and nip it up and then its all good, no clunks its all fine.

but then it comes lose again.

geting under there to nip it up every uthere day is starting to get a bit old I can tell you.

hope some one knows wots going on or has a fix?

I had my car in at ford today to have thoses bolts done up under warranty and asked about putting nolathane bushes in instead and was told im better off using a little bit of loctite instead other wise it will just cause more drive line issues

thanks for the help guys.

me and my mate will drop the ass end out tomorow and pull the 3 studs out and loctite them.

hope it holds , il know in a week enyway.

il give u guys a update in a week and tell u if it works

when my bolt was knackered, I thought it was just coming loose.

it would tighten up and be sweet as for 1 trip, then the clunk would return. it wasn't till I got so pissed off after tightening it up on the 5 day in a row that I gave it an almight tighten and it just kept turning.

if you are going to drop the whole rear end out I would grab another bolt just in case yours is the same as mine was!

so here is the update. the thred is striped in the diff cover.

got a helecoil going in to day and put her back togther this evaning.

hope it works and wish me luck.

happened to me not long ago took it to ford

and replaced the bolt that was stripped and diff housing cover

and the bush and had the tail shaft balanced now its all good.
