There are heaps of combo's you can pick but......

Instead of buying a dual pod why not buy a tri pod this way you can have:

1. vacuum / boost

2. oil pressure

3. oil temp

If you have not bought the pod yet, then I would go the Tripod with 3 Gauges :spoton:

Tripod is the way to go.

Oil pressure is good as if something goes wrong with the pump (let's face it, it's not uncommon) it could save you alot of $$$.

Boost is also nice as it's quite active.

The gauge I find really interesting and has resulted in changing my driving style is oil temp. I never drive my car hard when cold, or so I thought! I always let the water temp get to operating level before sinking in the right foot. Since I've fitted the oil temp gauge I've noticed the oil takes alot longer to come up to temp. I drive 15 minutes, about 20kms to work every day and 15 km's of that is at 100km/h. In the time it takes me to drive to work the oil temp has only gotten to 62 degrees. Normal temp seems to be between 80-90 degrees.

not to steal the thread, but...... I was about to purchase the full sweep mechancial autometer cobalt boost guage and full sweep electrical oil pressure, but how do u hook the oil presseure "sender" up? Cant seem to find on the forums where this was done.

But yes Herbie, boost and oil pressure I reckon too.

Alot of boost gauges are combination boost/vaccuum.

Oil pressure can easily be hooked up by putting in an adaptor to where the stock oil pressure switch is. There's a topic on it, here's the link...
