just thought I would give you guys a warning about storing your garage remotes in your car.

an incident occured where a car was broken into and the garage remote was taken to gain access to the house. fortunatly they were desterbed when gaining access to the house and were chased away.

im betting a lot of people store there remotes in there cars and the theves know it.

That sucks was it stolen at the house or elsewhere. The thought of someone following me to the shops breaking into the car and going back to my place freaks me out. Someone breaking into your car and your house on the same day would suck hard.

If you loose a remote change the door codes straight away and stop those thieving bastards.

Yeap, I make sure the remote is kept in the car as little as possible.

When its not in the car I make sure both keys & remote are hidden.

if your worried bout security, delete the codes monthly and reinstall your remotes. my garage remote opens about 100 houses in brisbane atleast as it saves me draging heaps of keys around but it screws me up if some one deletes the codes
