Hi Lads, as the title suggests, im a big Unit, 6'5" and 110kg.

Something which is starting to bother me is the height of the leather seats at their lowest adjustment in my BA turbo. I'd love to be able to drop them a further couple of inches.

It wasnt something I noticed at first, but over time its starting to get to me. The headroom is fantastic, but I feel like I am looking past the Sun visor, rather than well below it, which is compromising visability a little.

anyone discovered a way to get them lower, using other models seat rails, modding etc?

I have sat in a friends BA turbo with standard cloth seats, and they are noticably lower...Less padding, bolstering I suspect.

Cheers for any input.

Gav

Other than swaping the leather for cloth seats, no one I know has been able to lower the seats.

The height is caused by the electric motors under the seats.

I am 6'5" and 130Kg and am now used to the position. While I would like it lower, I doubt there would be much you could do with the stock seats.

I remember someone who installed Recaro seats and this lowered the driving position, so may be aftermarket seats would be a good solution.

I am 6,4 and I do not have a problem even with the leather seats.

Your not that big, I'm 6'9 about 145ish and even with cloth trim I still seem to be looking from under the sun visor :hmmm:

You must have long legs and a short body then. :hmmm: as I am only 6'2 and my head rubs on the roof with the leather seats.

Maybe I have stumpy legs and a long body.
