That must be Ravensthorpe, s sparky I used to work with went down there for commissioning/construction. He's on $65hr 7/7 roster, I suppose it just depends which contractor you work for, I almost went down there myself but Southern Cross Electrical who I applied for at the time where only offering around $40 something at the time and 10hr days 4/1 roster.

I am a plant operator 26 yrs experencie operating excavators and other plant trying to break into the iron ore mines at the moment but have had a few knock back.but it looks like I might have a start on the constuction of the fortsque metals rail line from mt newman to port headland.it is a tuff roster 4/1 12 hr days but good $.keeping fingers crossed I get the gig.

Have you heard of NRW? Those are the guys to apply for if you break into Iron ore. They are on all the Pilbara Iron minesites, I'm sure a lot of their guys get poached by Pilbara Iron. If all else fails there's always Marandoo, but I'd use that as a last resort.

Yep, its Ravensthorpe, so I guess this is rather an exception rather than the general rate for country positions. I would have thought maybe 40-50 an hour in whop whop is a good rate
