Hi guys n gals, just wondering if anyone has put 10's or 12's in the rear tray and how you did it?

Pics would be really cool or a post to another thread if it exists I tried search but to no avail.

Cheers.

J

Pioneer do a freeair 8" shallow mount TS-SW841D that would be a direct replacement for the factory sub, also from Pioneer. That way you can avoid cutting your parcel shelf.

No doubt other brands do 8" subs but freeair variants are harder to come by.

JBL GT 8" sub is also a drop-in - not quite as shallow as the Pioneer though. There are some posts on this forum detailing this speaker.

was thinking of doing this myself. got a 12 inch sub, going to put a wood spacer in so that the sub has room to move, then box it all in and carpet it. no cutting required (hopefully)
