250 rwkw you should be fine, provided you get the shifts firmed up.

This can be done by the tuner if you get a custom Edit tune.

Should the box start slippijng, they are not expensive to rebuild, if you are only replacing worn bands and clutches.

hey mate hard to say when your box will fail as we dont know how u drive hard or easy??

ive got no mods on my auto done yet but just recently fitted a trans cooler which I hope will help it last abit longer and ive been out the drags 3 times now so ive havent noticed any problems yet (touch wood!!!!). Its luck of the boxs really..... oh and the car has just clocked over 60,000kms and my tuner has also frimed up my shifts too. I recommend getting a cooler first as they are a fairly cheap mod to start with.

cheers Ryan

are you gonna bother getting a edit??

there no point putting an exhasut system and CAI

in if your just gonna get into limp mode 24/7

its worth more getting just the edit and custom tune

trust me its more noticable differnce and you wont regret it.

the local tuner is awaiting new software which allow him to tune it better himself.

he reckons the exhaust and cold air will make an extra 40hp and he's a VERY reputable tuner in the newcastle area does a lot of work on the local Late model camira club cars 500+HP

and I want to wait until I have gearbox work before getting the tune as any decent power will just deystroy it
