Symptoms were, breaking down under load, like a stutter - traction control "bap bap bap bap"..Sounded kinda cool, like the new launch control in the FG manuals..hehehswapped out all 6 coils, and whalla, all fixed

Its exactly like the descriptions above....when I am driving and it comes on boos it starts to splutter just like traction control intervening, except its nowehere near spinning the weels. It does also have a slightly rough idle but is more noticeable when I go to take off and it wants to stall.I haven't had it apart yet but was just wondering if anyone has determined the best way to identify the faulty coil?Is it usually too intermittent to notice any colour difference in the spark plug? Can testing the resistance of the coils show up any irregularities? After driving 1500km with a box trailer on the back every time I stand on the gas the car misses above 3500rpm (sounds like traction control is interventing) then when idling after it has that BAP, BAP, BAP sound. I will probably replace the coils with after market items and also replplace my plugs.
