Hi I wanted to know are there any issues with replacing my standard wheels off a BA XR6 T with 19 x 8 rims. The rims I wanted to buy are off ebay. They are replica Typhoon wheels. Does anyone know of any issues with these wheels? I have included a pic.

Thanks

Paul

No problems with 19x8's mate.

I had 19x8 ROH rims on mine with 245/35R20 Hankooks all round and no dramas. I now run 20x8's with 225 fronts and 255 rears, again no problems .

Good luck with the new wheels :spoton:

thanks for replying. will I still be able to lower the car with new springs

yep, I think kings SL fronts and SSL rears seem to be the common choice :spoton:

Yeah no problems with lowering. If you want to go wider than 245 on the rear as well as lowering you might have to get the guards rolled although I cant give you a definite answer on this. I had 245's on the rear with SL fronts and SSL rears and it never scrubbed. I've got the same suspension now with my 20's and 255's and still no scrubbing although it's very close.

Also depends on what brakes you have as to if there will be any fitment problems. A lot of aftermarket wheels won't clear Brembo or other similar brakes. Try before you buy if you can.

Stick some pics up when you do. I have been considering them as well.

Do they need the Hub ring?

Also from above post are the 255s on a 8 inch rim?

Will post pick when mine are done in the coming about two weeks as I have to order tyres still.

These are I'm get 245/35 falkens, Here is the link where I bought mine from. This bloke os great to deal with and has a full range of 18 XR8, BA, BF Mk1 & Mk2 rims
