I think we may have a different perspective about who the trouble makers are. If you look at the materminids throughout history, they are not usally the poor or the '(Uneducated, low self esteem and no proper guidance)'.

The current crop of bad guys are incredibly wealthy, eduated and out to create their utopia/distopia irrespective of the cost to innocent life, like the Nazi's and Stalinists and all the other 'ists' of the recent past.

Great response aa

When I mentioned (Uneducated, low self esteem and no proper guidance) I was referring to the henchmen not the leaders. The leaders of course have been always the wealthy as you have quite rightly mentioned.

The human mind can except logic a whole lot easier if there is less knowledge, hence children being used by these sikos to carry out some horrendous stuff. The wealthy and powerful already have a pathway into the minds of these people as they aspire to be like them.

I have heard of stories that Suicide Bombers are offered eternity in Heaven if they carry out their duties... who in there right mind would believe that and go and do such things. I ask how could these dictators get to positions they did without having the henchmen to carry out these duties?

One thing we need to understand here is the psyche of these sorts of people (the Henchmen), they believe they are doing something productive tell help a cause. They are brain washed, they act only off feeling or heart and not of knowledge.

Anyway a little off topic from what Zap was trying to get at but makes for an interesting read I hope.

Also If had a cousin or even a brother that was a fundamentalist and decided that he was going to do something stupid and I didn't know about it would that make me a terrorist by blood line?? Again I am not defending Haneef all I am saying is take a more open view then saying his relatives a terrorist therefore he must be...

cant say without more evidence I rekon..

how about that 2nd doctor getting suspended from a qld hospital? bet the man who decided that is also a hand puppet. surely they need to give a clear reason for taking this action, and I havent heard one.

as for the releasing of information having an impact on the case for the english attacks, smells strongly like bs to me!

With the type of relatives it appears he has then Fark Him!

:spoton:

Why should we take the risk???

Fair enough he wasn't found guilty 'this time'... but what if he comes back and does actually have a hand in a terrorist act? I know it's a very discriminative way to look at it but if it saves innocent Aussie lives then keep him out as well as any other potential immigrants that have links to terrorists.

Gawd, talk about hysterical.

The risks and threats of terrorism are totally overblown and politicised.

Its truly become modern day witch burning.

Total hysteria which isnt proportional to the threats.

Why doesnt the government apply the same laws to drug lords - the cops know who they are.

What about jailing people without charge for 2 wks if they supplied a mobile to a drug lord.

The more we persecute the muslims the more likely some of them are likely to become extreme and consider hatching silly bomb plots like the amatuerish Glasgow effort.

Like I said it's discrimination but these extremists have bought it upon themselves... and unfortunately all other muslims. In a perfect world we wouldnt have to decide who can and who cant come here based on race/religion etc but due to the actions and reactions of such events as 9-11 the world now views muslims differently. Is it right??? By no means is it but that's the way it is.

I would suggest that we brought it upon ourselves.

Cast your mind way back to 1979. The US, UK and Pakistan funded 'freedom fighters' (terrorists) to overthrow the Soviet-backed Afghan government.

Our mate Bin Laden eventually joined that effort.

Anyway, the US succeeded in giving the USSR its Vietnam so to speak.

Anyhoo, skip a few years, a group of loopies led by Sheik Khaled Mohammed (he was Saudi, not Iraqi) perpetrated the 9/11 attacks.

And ever since muslims everywhere have been paying for the sins of 19 hijackers.

And throw in some ramblings about petroleum security and the invasion of Iraq and, bingo, crazy witching burnings everywhere dude!

appareantly told a couple of white lies on his resume that has now been found out... such as he was working for a year in an indian hospital (or something similar), when in fact he was sitting on his arse at home.....

I heard this on the radio which measns that it could be total BS.... but if it aint he can go and get farked and practice on his own people :spoton:

Just protecting the Govt, or erring on the side of caution, you decide

Meanwhile back in India , the accused is turning the whole thing into a media circus.

Inferences as to his religion being the cause are being touted.

No offence to any Muslims, but I can't stand the minority using a victim mentality against the west for all that displeases them.

Personally , he bought a one way ticket , so he got his wish.Visa revoked until furter notice
