The 10 goes like the clappers for me and I love how its been running in this colder weather. Both the 8 and 10 tunes give me better fuel economy than than the factory tune which is handy cuz my car is used every day and I dont ever want GT fuel consumption.Im looking at 2 extra mods, 1) High flow Cat and 2) better CAI, like the Phoon setup. No injectors or messing with internals. I just like to keep things simple. The car only 8 months old with 12K on it.These with a custom tune, courteous of C&V im sure will give me a bit more, but im not looking for the magical 300rkw. The 280-290 mark sounds nice. Will I get there and for what sort of $$$. I.B.

ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 21y 26d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 28/07/07 01:56 AM Share Posted 28/07/07 01:56 AM IB, unless you get injectors you will not see 280rwkw, as the injectors will be running out of puff with your current KW.As C&V have said, injectors, Actuator then cat/or new exhaust

I always thought injectors were for big power and onwards. So injectors, a cat and a custom tune looks like the way to go. you C&V boys got any ball park figures for a price? I only trust you blokes.Thanks.

I only have 2 questions;1) What is an Actuator, and what does it cost/fitting?2) Is the Cat as restrictive in the BA's (as these vehicles are not euro3 from memory), if required to be changed what is the cost?I am gearing up to get a custom and would like to get this stuff done first.Ozzie
groper Member 611 Member For: 18y 1m 11d Posted 28/07/07 11:45 AM Share Posted 28/07/07 11:45 AM actuator controls the wastegate and thus boost. they about $160 bux plus fitting which is about 2hours. after injectors cat will restrict you next, so get one. then you will see 280rwkw. id get a cooler too, otherwise you intake temps will skyrocket under the increased boost and then you will be back to 260rwkw after a few good squirts of the throttle
