You could goto the tyre shop and ask for 2nd hand tyres as customers leave their old tyres there because they upgraded. But if you invest over $60k in a car why buy 2nd hand anyway.

Fraud want over $1,000 for the Brembo front brake pads and $1,000 per front disk rotor.

This is for Brembo branded pads and rotors, and they only have 100% markup than what you pay at a brake place.

Gulp! - $1000 for front pads (bits of metal with a dollop of stuff on top).

Is this for the standard 4 pot brembos or the 6 pot? (mine will be the std 4 pots)

There seems to be a wide range in prices being quoted by dealers.

Thanks for the feedback everyone

All I can say to any Brembo owning Ford driver, is DO NOT GET FORD SERVICE TO SUPPLY ANYTHING.

You can get it for 50% cheaper for heaps of places. You also do not need to get genuine Brembo pads and Rotors.

DBA are a great replacement for the rotors and there are many pad choices.

My front pads got replaced at 27,000 ( 6 pots ) also replaced the discs at the same time with DBA 5000's

Hey were the DBA 5000s drilled and slotted? I had a look at the catalogue at work today, and from the .pdf it looked like they werent. Top discs though from what I've read.

Dba 5000 rotors are slotted only.... I also went with the Cebco pads much quieter and less dust and wont chew up your rotors, big improvement on the factory pads and rotors.
