Fuel Filter Change Highly Recomended

Fitted a Valvoline filter last night, started her up & ended up dropping about $15 worth of BP98 on the driveway

Going to Cov's this afternoon to pick up a Motorcraft one so hopefully that will work!

I had a Ryco do this once, but I just nipped it up a bit tighter. Double check its tight enough.

even motorcraft ones will leak if not fully tightened....sometimes they take quite a bit!

Fitted up the Motorcraft one last night after work & had a little leak. Just loosened the nuts, pushed/twisted the fuel lines in until they felt nice & tight against the inside of the filter then tightened fairly tight... No more leakage

that's how I fixed my valvoline one too. just gotta jiggle the lines and filter for a bit, then tighten!

On my ute its basically in line with the passenger door, on the inner side of the chassis rail.

Piece of piss to replace.

nearly the same place, but near the lhs rear passenger door.. just like the utes - it is on the inner part of the rail... you will need 2 spanners to undo it... takes 5 minutes..

Where can I get a Motorcraft Fuel Filter? Repco, Supercheap and Autobarn only have Ryco..

Ford has them for $45 but surely theres somewhere else you can get them from cheaper?
