I'm not going to be doing all of these every service, butMate, I would strongly suggest to replace the Turbo oil line filter assy. Yes you can clean it, but I did a lot of work to clean mine out just as an experiment. I tried carb cleaner and a few other chemicals, I also put it through the ultrasonic cleaner at work. Under a strong microscope the oil screen still has fragments of metal stuck in it. The part is like 50 bucks. Just replaced it. Wat shop dosnt have NGK BKR6EIX in stock? Pre gapped to .75mm mate. I had a look at mine this arvo and was going to do it, but the bracket around the filter looks like it is riveted on. It also looks like the fuel lines would get in the way of the filter if you just undone the filter and tried to slide it out of the bracket. I didn't want to try it only to find out I would have to bend the fuel lines to get the filter out so just curious to how you all went about it. I'd rather drill the rivet out and get it that way, but the thing is a pain in the ass to get right under! Thanks.

No drilling or bending required.

I fitted a ryco to my ute the other day and the threads wearn't cut deep enough to allow the tapers on the fuel lines to seat properly. Thusly $1.50 premo all over the floor on start up. The motorcraft is about $1.50 more at trade price so about $15.Luke
