If any of this mush on the post fitler side of the fuel system make its way into an injector and blocks or partially blocks it your in for a world of pain...... Not too sure if mines been changed or not in the 101,000k's its done,, but when all finished I took it for a drive and felt more responsive and more go go.. dunno if it was just me or it actually made a difference.. Good thing the old man had his special power grip toothed pliers...I'd have rounded the nuts for sure!! out with the oldBackwash from the filter...I hope! hahaha...didn't check the direction when I was pouring it out.In with the new!Car seems to be making the Tuutututu sound now when backing off in 2nd gear WOT at 80-100...maybe I never noticed it before but I've had her a year and only heard that sound once about 4 months ago, now it's consistent. I can't see any reason the fuel delivery would affect this??
