Just thought I'd continue with the fuel consumption. At this stage I'm getting 12.1 ltrs per 100kms. Considering I only have 750k's on the clock I thought it was pretty good (this was a good mix of city/highway driving)

that's about identical to what our computer is showing also, but the two times l have filled her up and calculated usage manually each fill l have found the computer was overstating usage by 0.3 - 0.4lt/100, so the actual consumption is probably under 12lt/100. Excellent considering the performance and the cars weight. :)

That's right. The computer said smack on 13 ltr/100k's after travelling about 300 odd k's, but when caculated it come to 12.1

Anyone else noticed this, or know why this is the case???

My 2 cents worth. After owning a VX GEN III Calais for the past 2 years and then buying the XR6T, give me the XR6T any day. It handles sooo much better. It does not accelerate off the mark as quick as the VX but it sure does moove once you get it going. I went for the leather, REX, Sat Nav, Premium Sound in Blueprint (auto). It gets an amazing amount of looks around town. I couldn't be happier.

The only mod I intend to make is a custom exhaust.

I've found the same, not that impressive off the mark but I'm used to lag from previously owning a turbo skyline. I found by stalling it up to 2000rpm it leave the line awsome with a little wheel spin.

Despite having the seat in its lowest position, I still feel that I am sitting too high in the car. Other than that, everything else is pretty much perfect.

Have not driven a turbo yet but placed my order based on a drive in an Xr6, very smooth and balanced. With the extra power it should be a great ride, and going from your comments I cant wait
