They are mini itx.
I suppose if you guys wanted to go even smaller, you could look at the mini ITX boards too.

mini ITX was wat I was talkin about. under 1000 bucks with windows installed and stuff. Is that a good price?

that's basically just a PC/Laptop running that Centrafuse software. A touchscreen overlay has been installed in front of the standard ICC screen.

Ive recently installed an xbox in the car, and it does almost the same stuff - obviously minus the internet/gps functionality, but I rekon its still good (still trying to figure out a power solution for it).

excuse the crappy video, but I was just excited to get the audio/video working at like midnight :)

You know, you really cant beat a modded xbox for cost vs function. Nice work.

Does the xbox have a wireless controller option?

ASL have an xbox kit with the power supply sorted as well btw. Dunno how much it costs.

Yup I've got a wireless controller for it. Works from the backyard of the house, so it will definitely do the job from inside the car or from outside the car to show off to your mates when you pop the boot.

I do however want to use the xbox remote control with the xbox, however it uses infrared, so im either going to have to extend the infrared receiver from the boot to the front of the car and mount it somewhere... or tap into the standard infrared receiver which is just above the screen and figure out how to use that one!

Yeah I saw the kit they offer, but I'd rather do it all myself (I did purchase the video cable though) and learn how it all works at the same time.
