best way to get rid of them is to spray the ants with mortein or similar and leave the bodies there for a few days. when the ant reinforecements come and see all the bodies, they will tell their friends not to come back.

you may find that other ants will come and remove the dead.

mabee try some chalk dust ants wont cross a chalk line.

also the scent trails need to be removed using some bicarb and eucaliptus oil mixed with water on the concrete around the car.

You will need to do a combined approach as they can be tricky buggers to get rid of.

Go to Coles and buy Ant Sand, RID ant killer and a can of surface spray.

Put the Rid in a little dish, the antsand around the car and use the surface spray around the areas the frequent.

This should get rid of the buggers.

Yeah definately ant sand.

I don't think it kills 'em. They take it away and make little beaches out out it and it gives them somewhere else to go.
