We won't be able to get any spare parts at all, that's all finished. There'll be no one able to fix our engines cos no one will know anything about them. I think it's all over for us T owners from Monday. If you find any I6 engines in second hand shops anywhere, snap em up.....Tongue in Cheek...LOLWasn't this actually happening in 2010? I saw the news tonight and everyone was crying over losing their jobs and houses. But I thought they'd get a payout plus keep working till the contract was finished in 2010???? Dunno.Think we'll be right for many years to come.

So far this is my 3rd time. 1st time was 4 weeks notice, second time was on the day, that was at Cisco when the dot com bubble burst, 400 in Aus lost their jobs that day, and the 3rd time was 2 years ago, but I got 9 months notice on that one. Every time I was a contractor so NO PAYOUT at all, only 4 weeks pay. ah well, I've been in communications most of my life and there's always work out there for me.Was very scary for a long time though. How long before they actually fully stop producing the block is the question??... A while yet I would imagine.2010 is a fair time away ...
