I hope for around the 320RWKW mark.Any suggestions and advice would be sweet as, should I do the dump and cat or just injectors and tune? really do want over 300 at the wheels not just you know 298.5 or something like that. Thanks guys Edited 18/07/07 02:35 AM by Typhoon Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/36733-bfii-f6-typhoon/ Share on other sites
koppers Member 119 Member For: 18y 5m 2d Posted 18/07/07 02:36 AM Share Posted 18/07/07 02:36 AM Put some kays on it first. The ute got it's birthday after circa 2500km's and the removal of the mineral oil. Without a change of the front mount, I doubt 300rwkw would be reached. Even if it were to, the extra load on the engine isn't really advisable.Get a free-flowing kit like Kevin's and you will be laughing. With that, and the mods you've already mentioned, the ute makes 306 @ only 10 psi.Best of luck with the car, and enjoy its transformation over the modifications. For around $1,800 you will get 315 - 320 RWKW and this includes a new flash tuner & custom tune. You dont need to spend big bucks on intercoolers and fancy plumbing unless you are after massive RWKW. The standard rim / tyre combo can't take mutch past 280 RWKW anyway.I have recently been in two F6's with this set up in them and they are F**ken awsome smooth, quite, and capable of blowing any commonwhore into the weeds. At this power level an after market cooler is not needed in the F6 unless you're doing track work or giving it a number of runs in quick succession.
