I want to fit the same unit to a BF but undrstand that the thread is different - can anyone confirm this? The BA 6 Cylinders use the Z9 filter, the BF's use the Z 516 Filter like the one used on the XR8.Just go to your nearest AutoBarn shop and tell them you need one for a BF and he may have to ring SPECO to get the right one for your car.Speco only have them for the 6cyl engine that takes a Z9 style oil filter, Aussie CarEnhancements have the adaptors for the BF 6's which also fit the V8'sCheers Craig Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/36650-easiest-and-best-way-to-plumb-your-oil-pressure-and-temp-gauges/page/2/#findComment-558699 Share on other sites

YellowTurbo Member 163 Member For: 18y 8m 27d Gender: Male Location: Darwin Posted 15/10/07 10:17 AM Share Posted 15/10/07 10:17 AM $40 from autobarn sunshine.Fitted mine yesterday with autometer gauges, very easy job and heaps of roomto move. I found that the best way through the fire wall is a blank rubber basically under the rear of the inlet man. Or should I do an oil change at the same time? In my experience sometimes you end up with oil and sh*t everywhere if you dont drain the oil :S Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/36650-easiest-and-best-way-to-plumb-your-oil-pressure-and-temp-gauges/page/2/#findComment-604243 Share on other sites

I now have speco adaptors available and are instock here at our shop for either the BA or the BF falcon (to suit either the z9 or the z516) and special price for forum members is $45 each plus $6.00 postage. we also carry these adaptors for the commy v6 and v8's out there. I also sell them in our ebay store. we also sell the SS inductions style dash pods in all 3 types (black smooth, black textured & gunmetal grey) as well as a wide range of speco, aca motorsport, ozegauge style gauges & ofcourse autometer. gimme a PM for more info Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/36650-easiest-and-best-way-to-plumb-your-oil-pressure-and-temp-gauges/page/2/#findComment-604274 Share on other sites
