Yeah they actually do. Don't let anyone else drive it or it'll feel like a different car next time you get in it.

3K service doesn't really matter if there's no issues. Doubt they ever really take a good look at it anyway. Just keep an eye on the service intervals though, from memory it's 15K or 12 months...could end up voiding warranty if left longer than that.

Hey thanks for that TAB.... I really didn't understand the learning factor at play until now...I thought it was just general familiarisation and enjoyment that seemed to improve the drive.....now I know ...it feels almost like a 'third leg' for a reason haha....and thanks for the advice on servicing ...I keep missing the early ones (the first compulsory is 15k ..just checked service manual). :spoton:

87000kms, 4000 of them mine.

When I got it I have to say it was pitiful and had obviously had little if any maintenance in its life.

Plugs, boost solenoid and throttle body clean, new fuel filter and a general bit of attention under the bonnet got it running nicely.

Inspection of suspension revealed almost every bush in the front end was destroyed, replacing them and brakes has actually turned it into what I expected in the first place.

All in all pretty impressed.
