My FG XR6T has just clicked over 6000 klm (in 6 months ...yeah..Ive been away alot) and was wondering .....should I just wait for the first proper 15k service or should I take up one of those earlier complimentary ones ? I seem to recall someone saying all they do during these earlier services is just look them over and don't really do anything unless something is obviously wrong ???? The car seems absolutely strong and tight and the ZF box definitely is getting smoother .....do these buggers 'learn' or what ?

My greatest joy so far ....letting the odd clubsport addicted work colleague to take her for a spin.....they never fail to end up scratchin' their heads and saying "f*ck....I didnt expect that from a 6 mate" ....hehe

Yeah they actually do. Don't let anyone else drive it or it'll feel like a different car next time you get in it. :spit:

3K service doesn't really matter if there's no issues. Doubt they ever really take a good look at it anyway. Just keep an eye on the service intervals though, from memory it's 15K or 12 months...could end up voiding warranty if left longer than that.
