I've got my Dec '02 BA mk1 up to a lazy 58,600kms. :banghead:

It's quality that counts not quantity!

Great to see people still enjoying these cars at higher kms. :wtf:

To the more experienced members of these forums -> any certain mileage milestones in particular for the XR6T, say a BA MKII?

Anything in particular I should look out for when buying one at 50-70k km ?

I hate to keep asking newbie car buying questions, lol. I'll join in on the expressions of joy when I get it!!

Me and my beloved MK1 XR6T manual have clocked up 85,000 klm's so far and to tell the truth I could not fault the car.........it helps when your son checks every step on the production line ( he worked there ) I havnt had an issue with anything except a funny warning bell and a refusal to start - it worked itself out.

I am now fitting her out as a tow car for my soon to be purchased caravan and then we'll do the lap! I figgure with 480-500 nm of torque it should tow the bejesus out of the van! :spoton:

Cheers,

Snail
