Jman,

there's 3 ways to get the drift on.

1) learn to drive

if that fails

2) give me the keys

if that fails

3) buy a 200sx

if that fails...

time to ride shotgun in a over powered to weight ratio 200 :P

Go back to nissansilvia forums bob.. btw. if anyone wants drugs.. speak to this guy.. he does drive a drug dealer car..

Once you get used to the LSD you'll have no issues....they have a habit of snapping you back in to a straight line and killing all the fun :roflmbo:

Jman,

I would suggest doing more research on drifting before trying to attempt it.

I have seen people using the SKID PAN (CONTROLLED SURFACE) in a 6speed auto in manual mode 2nd gear.

Look at my pic to see what a manual looks like drifting.

Personally Im suprised this topic is still going.

I can assure you the ZF makes drifting EASIER.

I have done it several times with Initial Drift days at Eastern Creek.

You can be mid slide and change up gears without unsettling the car, as opposed to a manual that will change the attitude of a car when changing gears.

The problem I found was that you tend to over turn the tyres too much and delaminate them, due to being in a higher gear.

You may want to look at your technique, but also consider not using your road car for drifting.

I have retired my car from drifting and will be getting a dedicated drifter.
