Beaker Member 41 Member For: 17y 10m 15d Posted 14/07/07 07:49 AM Share Posted 14/07/07 07:49 AM BF II doesn't have separate TC and DSC - one button, one light. pushing it quickly doesn't turn off either. Holding it down for one second turns off both.ABS is completely separate and can't be turned off (I have it on good authority if you pull out the fuse the body computer has a cow!)The above is accurate for the BFs that came STD with the DSC (I have one) - not sure what the ones were like when it was a factory option. Can't remember the reason behind it now. This was a couple of years ago, so they may have sorted it out by now. Pressing and holding makes the DSC/TC light flash but I haven't been able to verify what this means. Maybe if I get the car onto a skid pan ...... Maybe if I get the car onto a skid pan ......that's right, that's what mine does too. Here is what I've been told happens on our cars:1) Press the button for under half a second and the light turns on. This turns off traction control2) Hold the button for about 1 second and the light turns on and flashes. This turns off traction control and DSC.Now I cant verify that DSC turns off in step two, but I can definitely say that step one definitly is true.
