Well then... looks like I got ripped off! :censored: But at least it has well and truley paid itself off for the times I could do my own repairs and not take it elsewhere.

I think the 4480 was a misprint. More likely 480.

The Ellery Manuals are pretty crap IMO. They are lacking in many areas from my experience. Personally I wouldn't waste my time with it and just use the one on CD

Hey there everyone,

This is my first post, but kept an eye on this web forum for many years to see it develop to where it is now, job well done :buttrock:

I wont completely introduce myself at the moment, that's to come. Regarding the various workshop manuals you see getting around, in my line of work, manuals such as the Haynes or Ellery releases, are good at covering the basic, to intermediate level of automotive knowledge.

I'm aware that the Ford Official released Technical Workshop Manual has been circulating to the public for years now. From experience, this far outways, the level of depth and coverage of the emtire BA / BF range is second to none, legally, if it wasnt and Ford employed technicians were referring to it as a bible for these cars and something went wrong....well there would be no more Ford versus Holden.

Feel free to PM me regarding this topic, I may have something that will help you all.

Regards,

Mr Scientific
