If it was me I would buy an AU II XR6/8.

ba xt/futura would be alot faster than an au xr6 unless it was a manual.

the barra 182 has got a fair bit of poke for a standard engine,

as for the au xr8, ive beaten a few au xr8's in my xr6 na manual

stick with the xt mate :spit:

ps, au's look like :w00t2::puke:

haha yes I cant say I like them too much myself, except in ute form where they go look alright.

the low kilometers is an important thing, as theres not just wanting a newer car as reason from moving away from my current :censored:commodore:censored: that has a few kays on it.

going back to look at both the futura and the xt again tomorrow and make a decision.

save your money untill you can afford a T! I suggested an AUII as they have alloys, lowered suspension etc which the XT doesnt have.

he can always buy my xr6 springs and xr6 rims and tyres I have for sale :buttonit:

Hi Andy,

I was actuallly going through the same thought process all but 3 weeks ago... luckily the missus released the extra funds and the T come up at perfect timing.

I have 2 young kids so I was about to pick the Futura, benefits are rear power windows, rear lights, rear cup holders and centre pulldown armrest, alloys and some have rear parking sensors.

BAII also has side airbags.

Hope this helps

Ozzie

ok I have agreed to buy the XT after another drive of it and more looking around.

on thing though is I cannot pick up the car until the rear seat is repaired as it has separated along the seam between the left side rear seat and the middle part of the rear on the bottom (ass side :spoton: )

is this a common occurrence? I have seen this on 3 other BA falcons I have looked at.

its getting repaired at the car dealer's expense, but just wondering how prone it is to happening again.

 its a mass produced standard car, these things are bound to happen to the falcon,

it happened a number of times in the old xt I used to have, so far so good in the xr6 I have at the moment.

enjoy the xt :spoton:
