I see, so being a plumb back one, you just connect a hose on the vent where u can screw a trumpet onto it?

do the trumpets actually do anything? or just for looks. and does the vacuum hose connect on the adjustable screw at the top?

the kinda setup looks the same as the one I've got at the moment. but I'm still very keen on getting mine to work first before I look for alternatives.

how would that mach1 bov become legal anyway if its atmosphered. cops wouldn't exactly look at it and go "ooh that's the mach1, so its in the clear" =/ .. just out of curiosity

its only legal if plumed back.

any bov venting to open air is illegal.

the little holes in the trumpet cause air turbulence and more noise.

ok sweet..

well now I'm wanting to know, would there be any difference in having the bov's connected to where the stock one is, or having it placed in the middle of the rubber piping that goes from the intercooler, to the throttle body.

- And whats the best adaptor to get that can accomodate any blow off vavles. and actually where to look for them.

and where can we get new rubber piping so we don't have to cut up the original stuff.

That's all you need to do imo :spoton:

Just vent it and put a little oil filter on the end, nice a loud and doesnt sound stupid.

Yeh I just did that mod myself. It's sooooo loud now.

But you can hear it venting pretty much all the time. Even at low rpm there's some whoosh when changing gears and it seems like it takes too long to actually "blow off"

Think it's time to change the tiny vacuum lines that came with the boost guage.

Sorry guys, Im not really interested in modding the stock blow off valve.

My main concern now is to fit my aftermarket one on.

I have contacted several places now, the only place that's seemed to be of most help was gofastbits.com.au

but the adaptor I've bought that will clamp into any intercooler piping is f 2.5" and the stock rubber hose is 2"

and im trying to find something to replace the I/c pipe that goes onto the cross over that can accomidate this.

possibly that pipe that's in the picture on the previous page.

If anyone could help me out asap as I wana try n get this done.

Thanks

Does anyone know where you can actually get this rubber hose from, as BFHOOn posted up

post-8417-1183615221_thumb.jpg

I didn't realize how hard it was to find something like this that I can cut up. I'm tryin to look for a not so expensive one, cuz ford's is $140 and I am after a slighter bigger hose.

I've tried Turbosmart and AVO but they don't have anything like that. I also called up Rajab perfomance, they were fken rude as so forget them.

unless some1 is selling their stock hose 2nd hand for cheap. =/
