How Do I Fit This Bov On?

Hey guys, I just purchaced one of these and was seeing if someone could tell me how I go about hooking it up to my xr6t? THANKS!

looks lilke a blowoff valve for a WRX. The ones that bolt onto the side of a top mount intercooler.

You could also try to get an adpator for it to pipe it onto your intake pipe just before your thotle body and then run the plumbing to the required places.

What did you whant to achieve with this??? It might be easier to go and get a turbo smart kit as it will give you all the bits you will need to fit it up to standered pipe work. If you are in sydney I will come over and give you a hand to do this...

you can buy adaptors for this bov so there is a hose in and a hose out.

definatley a rexy one here. shift performance at lansvale will have what u need.

I was purely after the sound this bov makes and yes it usually is seen on rex's and sylvias. Although the turbo smart ones can come built to bolt straight onto our falcons, I was always keen to get this one..

no they are in sydney. they may be able to mail it to you.

you could also have it welded to a 5 inch long piece of pipe and cut the rubber hose from the under battery pipe to the throttle body in the middle. remove a small section then clamp the metal pipe inline. like gav said. edit..didnt see gavs post..

So the pipe that goes from the throttle body is 5 inches? it looks 3" which I thought it was.

Thanks for the pic, I can see how it could possibly fit on now. I thought it woulda had to go somewhere near where the original stock bov is positioned..

I tried to install this all day today, just to see how it would sound on my car.

I do intend to do that setup how its hooked into rubber pipe - leading to the throttle body, but wanted to make sure it actually works before I go to all that trouble.

The adaptor this bov came with is off a wrx. It has a hose connected on it which is of the same size of small arms that come out of the crossover, where the bov is to be connected.

What I've done is used the standard radiator hose, and plugged in the smaller hose this b.o.v came with, into it (as u can see in the picture). and I've got the small pressure hose connected to it as well.

But it doesn't seem to work?. all I get is a flutter. and hear no noise at all from what the bov is meant to make. Even though the tubing changes in diameter half way to the bov, id assume it would atleast work still.
