Ive noticed the drivers side sealbelt is very very slow to retract. Is there just a task of removing interior trim and maybe relubing the retracting mechanism? Can you even get to it?

Really starting to piss me off now....

Get Ford to fix it. Not likely. I'm out of warranty and I just know they'll charge me and arm and a leg for a first year apprentice to give it a squirt of WD40 or something.

It must be something I can do myself. Can anyone help.

was in another thread just the other day..

mine is slow too but its just a build up of sh*t on the top runner and the seatbelt. im betting that a thorough clean of the belt will get rid of the problem.

apparently all for do is pull them to bits - put some A-grade eucalyptus oil on it to clean the gunk off it and put them back together!!!
