Ive noticed this Autometer Cobolt boost gauge gets fluttery when its in vacum about -15 to -20, and generally when im coasting off the throttle. I dont know if this is normal, or if its the gauge at fault, or something else wrong???

Where abouts would the boost gauge normally be plumed into the system?

The car is stock, with a K&N filter.

I honestly wouldnt trust any boost gauge as far as I could throw it. use a dyno if you want to know how much boost/vacume you have

Well that's a first. Can you please expand on that?

most blokes have a dyno out the back of their place.

I don't know if this is a problem, the vacuum level can be very touchy aepecially when its so low (15-20) it doesn't take much for the intake to reach zero vacuum, I think the cobalts are just really responsive, that's my guesstamate

My Cobalt boost gauge is rock solid, the only time it moves is when I am on the throttle .

Same here.

Perhaps you have a small leak somewhere in the inlet tract...
