Marv Member 16 Member For: 15y 9m 23d Location: Central Coast - NSW Posted 22/01/09 04:24 AM Share Posted 22/01/09 04:24 AM (edited) I'll be coming from an RS Liberty that has had no end of work done to it. STi motor, big turbo, STi 6-speed gearbox and plated diff, coilovers, swaybars, Haltech computer, 650cc injectors, and lots more. Like an "LX" badge on the boot for added "WTF?!" factor. Makes about 200kW at all 4s, does low 12s and scares the buggery out of Porsches. Great fun, but with no air con, super-stiff springs and generally brutal performance its not really road friendly...So after 2.5 years worth of blood, sweat & beers, I'm parting it out and using the money to buy a BF XR6. I'm hoping to get into one that has the Typhoon motor (all '06 models, right?) for easier power. I'm not going to go nuts, just Walbro pump, CAI, intercooler, cat-back exhaust and retune for ~300kW ATW, plus some lowered springs, Bilsteins, 18s and some work on the brakes. Should be a good, reliable, fun family car then Edited 22/01/09 04:25 AM by Marv
