Just curious what you were all driving before you "upgraded" to XR6T, and how you have found the increase in power, if any, bottom end grunt and gear box etc compared to your last car.

Me, AUXR8 200kW.

Comments??...should have some next week, after I've driven mine around, but keen to hear everybodys thoughts

Upgrading from a '79 RS2000 Escort.

Looking forward to the Aircon, as the 'esky' is more like a 'toaster' up here in Townsville.

Gearbox/driveline is clunking a bit. Be good to get away from that noise ;)

I'll obviously notice a huge leap in power and straight line speed. Refinement/comfort levels 10 fold.

But I can't see the ute matching the Escort's corner speed. :(

Oh how It loves corners. Shame there isn't any in Townsville!!

The Escort does awesome J-turns too. I'll miss that.

"Upgrading" from a 1998 Explorer Limited. I've been driving an Explorer for four years (Had an XLT for 2 years, then got the Limited 2 years ago). Before that, I drove a Golf III Cabriolet (back in South Africa).
