Hey guys - I would appreciate your ideas on sway bars on a Tornado. I have bf Tornado (stock standard) and wondering if spending money on sway bars will improve the handelling. Also would I need to upgrade my spring and coils to gain the benefit of the sway bar.

TA in advance

Yes definitely, you dont need to upgrade springs but decent dampers would be a good idea

Sway bars will make a good different. I use the whiteline 27mm adjustable and it works well.

But if you are serious about handling then save your money and as mentioned above buy a decent set of shocks instead.

You can vastly improve the ride with 30mm front and 22 rear bar plus decent set of shocks. Changes the whole handling characteristics of the sedan, including tyre wear, braking, steering and balance. Go for it.

Tha swaybar question has been covered previously in some detail, so do a search and see what comes up :w00t2:

G'day all,

Ive got a stock BFII turbo and was wondering if the whiteline sway bars are the best ones to choose? It'll be my first mod (of many hopefully, $'s permitting) and just after some advice on my choices and the best combo of front/rear to improve handeling. I dont really want to lower it as it will make gutters and driveways a pain but any improvements to handeling will be great.

Cheers

The whiteline bars are fine, good value performance!

Changing the control arm bushes and rear diff bushes to something like Super Pro polyurethae will make a massive difference to your handling and response too
