Isn't the traction control button were people tap into for power for their gauges?But im sure someone else will have a more easier solution for you.Can you see it if you shine a torch through the hole? So all that needs replacing is the surround by the sound of it. If you get down under the steering wheel you can see up behind there and see the back of the switches.
