Well last night I was out cruising with a few mates, and I noticed I had my fog lights turned on, so as you do, I went to turn them off and I somehow pushed the button through its hole, and now its stuck in there :finger:

I'm not sure how to go about getting it out, anyone have any idea what I can do? or shed some light on the matter for me?

thanks.

Im guessing as a last resort you can get to behind there through removing the ICC? Isn't the traction control button were people tap into for power for their gauges?

But im sure someone else will have a more easier solution for you.

Can you see it if you shine a torch through the hole? Tried the good old coat hanger trick yet? :)

That whole unit with the two buttons in it just pops out well that is how I got mine out. the surrond actually holds the buttons in place mine surrond broke and did the same thing. So all that needs replacing is the surround by the sound of it. If you get down under the steering wheel you can see up behind there and see the back of the switches.

I have the same problem, but the button is actually broken on mine.. sits in too far on one side.. the plastic surround just pops off and you can get to the buttons that way. try ford or a wrecker for it if they wont do it under warranty :spoton:

yeah I took it out and had a look at it today, one side of the plastic clip is snapped, so I'll just get it replaced by warranty
